Hello and welcome to Centenary Church at the heart of beautiful Boston, UK.
We're so glad you've found our site and really look forward to connecting with you in person. Centenary is a Christian Church with open hands and an open heart in the Methodist tradition.
We've been loving and serving the people of Boston and the surrounding area since 1911 in our present amazing building, but Methodist work in the town started way back in the 1760s. We like to say that we're 'Steady as a Rock and Ready for Renewal'. In a world which sometimes seems overwhelmed by bad news, we long to shine as a place and community of Good News. John Wesley, whose love and vision began the Methodist movement all those years ago urged his followers to be 'the friends of all and the enemies of none'. We think it would be wonderful if the world lived by that principle and try to play our small part. You can find out loads more about who we are and what we stand for by clicking on the national website of the Methodist Church here. https://www.methodist.org.uk/
But, keeping it local, do explore this site, get in touch and know that there's the warmest welcome at Centenary for you, whatever age or stage of life you're at and wherever you are on a journey of faith - or not.
Centenary's premises really are a buzzing hub of worship, community meals, study and fellowship groups (in multiple languages) pastoral care, practical help, get-togethers, music, activities and lots more. Oh, and not forgetting baptisms, weddings and funerals. We're here for you when it matters.
God bless and thanks for visiting.
In faith, hope and love,
Revd Dr Val Ogden (Minister)

"We're thrilled to invite you to help us spread the word about our "Music Champion" position at Centenary Methodist Church on Red Lion Street in Boston. Our historic building with it's amazing acoustics deserves someone who will make the most of her so we'd be over the moon if you could also share this opportunity with your colleagues and even your friends and family!
Thank you so much for your support. With love and prayers" Rev.d Val Ogden.
